The 8th International and 9th National Oncology Nursing Congress will be held in Ankara from November 4-6, 2026, in collaboration with Gülhane Faculty of Nursing, Health Sciences University, Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital, and Ankara Hematology and Oncology Association. We would be delighted to see you at our international congress, where current, innovative, and transformative approaches in the field of oncology nursing will be discussed.

This year, with the main theme of “Competence, Visibility, and Digital Transformation in Oncology Nursing,” developments that strengthen the professional competencies of oncology nurses, make their roles visible, and center on the opportunities offered by digitalization within rapidly changing healthcare systems will be addressed. Today, oncology nursing is at the center not only of clinical practices but also of knowledge production, technology use, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Digital health applications, artificial intelligence-supported systems, telehealth, and data-driven care models are reshaping nursing practices; Enhancing the competence and professional visibility of nurses is of great importance in this transformation process.

Nurses, who improve the quality of clinical care, hold a critical position by strengthening the patient experience, ensuring continuity of care, and bridging the gaps between healthcare teams.

The aim of this congress is to share current knowledge and experiences in oncology nursing, discuss approaches that support professional competence, address strategies to increase the visibility of nurses, and jointly evaluate how digital transformation adds value to care processes.

We believe that strong professional competence, increased visibility, and properly managed digital transformation will shape the future of oncology nursing and further improve the quality of care we provide to our patients. In the courses, conferences, panels, and case studies to be held within the scope of our congress, competent national and international speakers will share their knowledge and experience. The presentations prepared with your contributions will further enhance the scientific richness of our congress.
