The 2nd International 3rd National Oncology Nursing Congress will be held in cooperation with University of Health Sciences, Gülhane Nursing Faculty and Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Education and Research Hospital. Our congress will be held on-line between December, 18th-19th, 2020, considering the COVID‑19 Pandemic precautions. We will be happy to host all healthcare professionals who maintain healthcare services and work in this field.
With all difficulties, nurses are at the forefront with great effort and dedication in combating the COVID-19 pandemic in today’s conditions. For this reason, we have determined the theme of our congress this year as “The labor of the nurse, the quality of its’ care”. Care is a field that is not unique to nursing, but is an original concept for nursing and is mostly maintained by nurses. The fact that people need care in order to survive from the moment of birth is the reason for nursing to exist and be indispensable. It is known that applying scientific, ethical and humanistic care to patients will make great contributions to patient health. The quality of care, given to patients in the oncology unit, which needs special care , has an important place for positive results in patients.
In our congress this year; Important and interesting issues in the field of oncology nursing will be discussed in the light of new developments. In addition, we aim to present you the latest developments in the field of oncology nursing with the courses, information update sessions and conferences in the scientific program of our congress. Meticulously prepared presentations on elaborately selected topics you send each year and the cases you encounter during clinical applications make a great contribution to the scientific content of our congress. We expect you to contribute to our congress this year.
We look forward the participation of all nurses, students and other health professionals working in the field of oncology nursing and who are interested in oncology.
